Tip 1: Learn how to use Buy Limit Order and Sell Limit Order
Robinhood’s default way of buying stocks is in real time. However, this usually leads to a delay in the actual price you saw and the price of your purchase — which is where a limit order comes in.
With a buy limit order, a stock is purchased at your limit price or lower. Your limit price should be the maximum price you’re willing to pay per share. When you buy stock, always put a buy limit order.
